Sanctuary of Hope attended a Joint Holiday Mixer on December 19, hosted by Baldwin Hills Crenshaw Plaza, a collaborative effort between Supervisor Mark Ridley-Thomas, Baldwin Hills Crenshaw Plaza, Crenshaw Chamber of Commerce, Metro, Walsh/Shea Corridor Constructors, Crenshaw/LAX CLC, Eat Shop Play Crenshaw, AADAP, West Angeles CDC, Stantec, McKissack & McKissack, 7-Eleven and Mott MacDonald.
Over 250 community stakeholders gathered to celebrate the holiday season including elected officials and local business owners who enjoyed food provided by restaurants in the Baldwin Hills Crenshaw Plaza. Live music entertainment from Connect Jazz Band, photo booth, DIY crafts, and a raffle where several stakeholders won Baldwin Hills Gift Cards, Eat Shop Play Prize Packs and Gift Baskets were fun activities from the evening.
Sanctuary of Hope was a charitable partner and received over 150 holiday gifts to make the holiday season bright for the youth and young adults in our programs. We thank the Crenshaw Chamber of Commerce and members of The Crenshaw/LAX Community Leadership Council for their partnership during the holidays.
