Mentors help young people in crisis overcome and see hopeful opportunities. We always look forward to National Mentorship Month. Mentoring is not what we do, it is who we are as a youth development and human services organization. Youth can not thrive without permanent connections.
Two mentors at SOH are drastically changing the lives of young adults. For #IAMAMENTORDAY, we featured Myson, our life coach, who launched and showcased his new graphic novel series, “Heroes of The New School”, that empowers youth and young adults with positive messages of purpose.
For #MentoringDay, we acknowledged Jay, our Rapid Rehousing Case Manager who celebrates one year with us. For ten young people, he has been a solid and consistent person guiding them through their life aspirations.
