In recognition of Youth Hope Month, Sanctuary of Hope (SOH) proudly received a proclamation from the City of Hawthorne, presented by Councilwoman Angie English-Reyes. This proclamation, which officially declared November as Youth Hope Month, highlights the ongoing efforts to raise awareness and address the challenges of youth homelessness in our community.
As part of the event, staff and youth from the Hope Connections Office shared powerful testimonies about the critical services offered by Sanctuary of Hope to combat homelessness among young people. These services, including crisis intervention and transitional housing, are essential in supporting the more than 250 youth and young adults in the South Bay region who seek help each year.
Sanctuary of Hope remains committed to providing a safe space, resources, and hope for youth facing homelessness, helping them transition to stable and successful futures. We are grateful to our community partners and supporters for their continued dedication to this cause.
Together, we can continue to make a difference in the lives of young people in need.
