Sanctuary of Hope proudly hosted Conversations on Young Parenting and Well-Being last month. The event addressed young parent resiliency and was free to the public thanks to Kaiser Permanente for providing space at their Baldwin Hills-Crenshaw Medical Offices. Throughout the evening, the audience heard thoughtful discussions on youth parenthood such as the importance of childcare, challenges of housing affordability, need for more fatherhood supports, and narrative shift to “village resiliency”.
