Hope Haven

Sanctuary of Hope is proud to introduce Hope Haven, a transitional Scattered-Site Supervised Apartment Program designed to provide stability, support, and hope for expecting and parenting youth. This innovative program helps young families build resilience, strengthen economic mobility, and thrive in community.

About the Hope Haven Program

Hope Haven offers 8 independent apartment units for up to 12 households of expecting and parenting youth ages 16–21. Participants can receive safe housing and supportive services for up to 12 months to help them achieve stability and long-term independence.

Program services include:

-Safe and stable housing

-Life-skills and parenting support

-Education and employment assistance

-Economic stability coaching

-Case management and community resource navigation

-Support for young parents and their children

Expecting youth are defined as individuals in their final trimester of pregnancy.
Youth ages 16–17 must be court-declared emancipated to qualify.

Eligibility Requirements

To participate, expecting and parenting youth must meet the following criteria:

Be experiencing or at risk of homelessness or have dependent children age 5 or younger.

Eligible family types include:

-Single mothers

-Single fathers

-Married couples with dependent children

-Intact couples with dependent children where both parents are listed on the birth record

-Have primary custody of the child(ren).

-All family members must have a Social Security Number (SSN).

Agree to the occupancy agreement, program rules, and meet all requirements for maintaining housing.
