We are thankful to the Ahmanson Foundation for a $31,500 grant that allowed us to purchase a brand new fully equipped 8 – passenger van from Toyota. This new vehicle will be used to transport youth to a variety of social, leadership, college, and personal development activities.
Transporting was an extreme challenge. We relied on staff and volunteers for transportion to various locations such as college campuses, employment fairs, recruitment appointments, mental health assessments, public benefit offices, and agency events. Securing this new van with the help of the Ahmanson Foundation improves our ability to get our youth where they need to go in an efficient and cost effective manner.
