Sanctuary of Hope was humbled to be invited by Mayor Eric Garcetti’s Office to  join over 100 interfaith leaders for a press conference to launch Days of Compassion. Days of Compassion is an initiative to engage the faith community to support the fight  to end homelessness through activities of compassion.  Mayor Garcetti asked interfaith leaders to commitment to compassionate actions, such as hosting mobile showers or re-purposing property to serve people experiencing homelessness.

Sanctuary of Hope completed a Days of Compassion project with Holman United Methodist Church called the 10/60 challenge.  The Challenge was to house 10 youth in 60 days.   Holman provided welcome home baskets and welcome home cheering squad to make youth feel at home.
