Sanctuary of Hope (SOH) helped coordinate and participated in the the 2016 Homeless Youth Count.  This count was the first ever using an urban-based youth demographic survey.  Over 45 volunteers, deployed from The RightWay Foundation combed the streets of South LA to find homeless youth and have them complete the survey.  Information from the youth count is used to gather information and determine resources.

SOH’s youth volunteer, Antwonette, said, “This was an eye-opening experience.  I am glad I got a chance to give back to my community by volunteering. ”
